TBRail end user licence agreement

1. What you get

TBRail’s diagnostic features are free to use, permanently, with no account and no licence key. The tie-out module is unlocked by a licence key you buy from us.

2. Your licence

A purchased key licenses one major version of TBRail, permanently, for you or your firm. Use it on the machines your firm works on; there is no device limit and TBRail will not lock you out of a machine you own. The key is yours and your firm’s, and not for sharing beyond it. It is not a subscription and it does not expire. The purchase includes updates to this major version for twelve months. A future major version is a separate purchase and never stops an earlier one working.

3. Activation

Unlocking the tie-out module contacts our licence service once. After that TBRail works offline for thirty days on a stored result and revalidates when it can. If that window lapses without revalidation, the tie-out module returns to its purchase screen. Free features are never affected, and anything the tie-out module has already written to your workbook stays yours, readable and usable, permanently.

4. Your data

TBRail reads and writes only the workbook you point it at, on your machine. We never receive your workbook or anything in it. Licence activation sends your key, a machine identifier, the product id and the version, and nothing else. There is no telemetry and no analytics.

5. What you may not do

Share, resell or publish your licence key; work around the licence check; or redistribute TBRail as part of another product.

6. Refunds

Fourteen days from purchase, in full, no reasons needed, by email to support@hardboundstudio.com.

7. No warranty, and what that means here

TBRail is provided as is. It finds problems in a trial balance and helps you tie out a consolidation; it does not audit your accounts, does not replace review, and its findings are yours to check. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence.

8. Ending it

You may stop using TBRail at any time. We may end this licence if you breach clause 5. Nothing already written into your workbooks is affected by either.

9. Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in this agreement affects any rights you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
